At Tidelands, we are a comprehensive production studio specializing in photography, film, and podcast production, with a focus on telling stories that ensure equal representation of Native Americans. We handle every aspect of creative projects, from concept development to final editing and distribution, delivering high-quality outcomes that professionally showcase the voices and experiences of Native America.
Inside our production studio, we will focus on what we are calling an “Indigenous podcast incubator” to develop new shows dedicated to Native America:

with Matika Wilbur (Swinomish & Tulalip
"All My Relations" is a popular podcast hosted by Matika Wilbur, a renowned photographer from the Swinomish and Tulalip tribes. This podcast explores our relationships—relationships to land, to our creatural relatives, and to one another. Through engaging conversations and insightful storytelling, Matika and her guests delve into topics relevant to Native communities, such as cultural preservation, representation, and the modern Indigenous experience. Each episode invites listeners to learn, connect, and appreciate the rich diversity and complexity of Native cultures..

Healing Talks
with Copper Canoe Woman (Heiltsuk Nation)
Debuting in Winter 2024, Healing Talks is a podcast exploring Indigenous wellness practices. Hosted by Vina Brown of the Heiltsuk Nation, each episode starts with the questions: "What do you need to be well?" and "What do our communities need to be well?"
Covering topics like the misappropriation of Yoga, healing from historical trauma, and new research on Native American health, Healing Talks features wellness practitioners, researchers, and healing experts from across Indian Country. The "Ask Auntie Vina" segment invites listeners to call in and discuss their own healing journeys with Vina.
Old Growth Table
with Valerie Segrest (Muckleshoot)
"The Old Growth Table" is a heartfelt exploration of the rich cultural heritage and culinary traditions of the Coast Salish people. As a Native Foods Nutritionist and Muckleshoot Tribal member, Valerie will guide you through this journey. This show delves deep into ancient food wisdom, traditional cooking methods, and the profound spiritual connection we have with our environment.

The Emerging Native Storytellers program is dedicated to empowering the next generation of Native professionals by providing opportunities for storytelling, mentorship, and career development. We aim to hire and mentor talented young Native individuals, supporting them as they share their unique voices and perspectives with the world. Through this program, participants will gain hands-on experience, receive guidance from established industry professionals, and build a strong network within the Native storytelling community. Join us in celebrating and amplifying Native voices through this transformative program
